Adjustment and Control
The EHEIM thermocontrol+ e aquarium heater is an advanced iteration of the thermocontrol e heater. Unlike its predecessor, this model is not manually adjusted but is instead programmed and monitored wirelessly through WLAN using your smartphone, tablet, or PC/MAC. You can precisely set the temperature between 18 and 32 °C. If the temperature deviates by +/- 2 degrees, you will receive an email notification, provided you have registered an email address.
Synchronization with Other Devices
A standout feature of the thermocontrol+ e is its ability to synchronize with other devices within the EHEIM Digital Family, such as the EHEIM professionel 5e filter or the LED control lighting system. This allows you to specify temperature adjustments in response to changes in filter flow (in bio mode) or when the LED lighting is turned on or off. For instance, if the filter flow increases at night and the lighting is turned off, the set temperature will automatically adjust: 25 °C during the day and 23 °C at night. (Note: The heater does not cool down water, as it lacks an integrated cooling feature.)
WLAN Connection
The thermocontrol+ e is fully submersible and waterproof. For optimal WLAN connectivity, be sure to immerse the heater only up to the "water level" mark. For added security, each EHEIM thermocontrol+ e is encrypted at the factory (the password can be modified). Once you’ve set your desired temperature, you have the option to turn off the WiFi network.
