Over time, a film develops on the surface of almost any aquarium, containing microorganisms, dust, oils, and food residues – known as the mold film. With the EHEIM skim350 surface skimmer, you can effectively remove this mold film, ensuring a crystal-clear water surface and enhanced oxygen levels. While the EHEIM skim350 is built for regular use, it can also be utilized for short-term applications. If you plan to switch it between different aquariums, make sure to prevent the transfer of algae spores or diseases between tanks. The skimmer captures bacteria and dirt particles, which are then collected in the filter sponge. Great room separator

The panels are much longer than we expected! We only needed 3 of the 4 proivided. It's slightly flimsy, but holds together nicely. The screwdriver that came with did not fit the screws, but luckily we had a Phillips head. It's very lightweight. It is definitely a good value for the money.
