Through the jungles of Bataan, the bloody battles of Tarawa and Iwo Jima, across the deserts of North Africa, and the formidable Italian mountain chain, each carries his bits of home--medicine bundle or crucifix, sacred cornmeal or pocket Bible--and each clings to the mystic thread that will bring him home. At journey's end the circle closes as each man, each race, each reader, must speculate on the untrodden paths ahead, leaving them, and us, with profound--perhaps painful--questions and a deeper understanding of man's relation to man, and to the trinity of Earth, Sky and Water. Dorothy Cave's literary credits include two Southwest Writers' Awards, the Simon Scanlon Award, and the International Literary Award. She has served as historical consultant for two film documentaries on the Battle of Bataan and the ensuing POW experience, and appears in both films as commentator. Where has this been my whole life

Let me give you some background. I’m middle eastern. That means I tan well but have two different skin tones; my January skin and my July skin. I wear a watch and I’ve been out of the sun since September. My tan hasn’t totally faded but the lighter band, that’s my real skin color. That’s how I want to be all over.
I always try to make better choices in my skin products. I have tried so many mineral based sunscreens for my face and body but I usually end up returning to a chemical based one for several reasons.
HOWEVER, I have finally found the product I’ve been searching for. Blue Lizard leaves no white cast on my skin. It’s easy to rub in. It also does not get trapped in my dense, black eyebrows the way other products did. It would gross me out and look like I had flakes in my eyebrows. I just spent the week at Universal Studios and I did not burn. I didn’t tan either, which is great. Tanning is also a sign of sun damage. Chemical or mineral sunscreens often prevent sunburn but I still tan. I don’t want either. I am sold and will continue to buy this product. I feel great about that it has safer and better quality ingredients.

Better value & quality
I was using the Paula’s brand but stopped ordering because the price kept going up. This came up in my search and it’s almost the same except it has a stronger concentration & has a few more added benefits. It’s also about half the price. This product works great & I’ve been using TruSkin Vit. C moisturizer for years now so I knew their other products work for me and are good quality.

This is the most gentle liquid exfoliant I've ever used. I have very sensitive skin and 3xs a week doesn't bother my skin at all!
