De Protruar 3.0 12v is voorzien van een borstelloze 12-voltmotor van 900 Watt en uitstekend geschikt voor de voortstuwing van verschillende typen vaartuigen met een maximale lengte van 7 meter. De kantelbare telescopische stuurhendel van deze buitenboordmotor is voor een optimale controle voorzien van een traploos instelbare snelheidsregeling met veiligheidskoord (voor- en achteruit). De compacte motor kan gemakkelijk in- en uit het water gekanteld worden. De staarthoogte is traploos instelbaar met een snelsluiting, waardoor op nagenoeg elk water is te varen. Als het vaartuig desondanks de bodem raakt, wordt de propeller automatisch stopgezet. De LED-indicator geeft informatie over de actuele accuconditie.
