Het wijnhuis Esporao kent een bijzonder lange geschiedenis, waarvoor je zelfs terug moet naar 1267. Maar in 1973 werd het landgoed gekocht door Jose Roquette om zijn wijndroom waar te maken. Wijngaarden creëren in de mineraalrijke, vulkanische gronden in het Zuidoosten van Portugal. De wijngaarden van Esporao liggen in de regio Alentejo. Hier worden warme dagen afgewisseld met koele nachten. De wisseling van warme zomer en koude winters zorgt voor originele wijnen, waarbij de druiven goed kunnen rijpen. Esporão gaat duurzaam te werk met bijzonder veel respect voor de natuur. De wijngaarden worden met veel kennis en passie verzorgt en daarbij staat kwaliteit voorop. Assobio betekent letterlijk ‘fluitje’ en staat voor de wind die door de wijngaarden waait en je daarbij een fluitend geluid hoort. De wijn is hier dus naar vernoemd. Als een soort ode aan de Portugese wijngaarden van Esporão. De wijngaarden hebben een bodem bestaande uit leisteen en graniet. De wijnstokken hebben een leeftijd van 15 tot 20 jaar oud en weten de juiste voedingsstoffen uit de bodem te onttrekken. De druiven worden volledig met de hand geoogst en naar de wijnmakerij gebracht. Hier worden de druiven ontsteeld en vervolgens geperst. Er volgt een koude maceratie waarna een vijfde deel van de druiven 6 maanden op eikenhouten vaten rijpt.De heerlijke fruittonen van Esporao Murças Assobio Wit
Maar het wachten wordt beloond met een prachtige frisse witte wijn. Met in de geur tonen van donker fruit, zoals zwarte bes, pruim en cassis. Deze fruittonen worden aangevuld met vanille en houttonen. In de mond komen de fruittonen duidelijk naar voren. Het mondgevoel is soepel en zwoel met een lange aangename afdronk. Ideaal om zo van te genieten of in combinatie met een stevige pasta of bij stoofvlees.Shipping Notes

Best pillow ever.

How much did I like this pillow? My wife and I both loved it so much that we purchased another one. I think that says it all! The pillow arrives in a large box (king size pillow). It does NOT arrive all flattened and squished in a vacuum bag like some others do. I did place it on my back porch to air out for a while, just because that's what I do with any new bedding. I did not have any issue with scent or odors from either of my pillows. Its clearly well constructed with high quality materials. It comes with a smaller bag of extra stuffing if you want a slightly firmer pillow. We have not used any of the extra stuffing... we think the pillows are perfect as is! When I ordered the first pillow, I thought the price was a bit on the high side. After using it, I had no hesitation purchasing a second. This pillow is well worth the price. If anything, I feel this pillow is a great value at its price. Its not too hard, not too soft. Its the goldilocks pillow! I give this pillow my highest possible recommendation. Its simply a great pillow.

Excellent pillow, firm but more flexible than others of its type

I previously bought a similar pair of pillows from Sleep Innovations, but they are now either out of stock or unavailable. This new brand is a bit softer and more comfortable than the original pair. It's good for sleeping on my side or my back. The pillow cradles and supports the head and neck in a more contoured way than some harder pillows. The price is reasonable. The only difference from Sleep Innovations is that this pillow does not have a zip cover. So there is no way to wash the exterior. I suppose that one could buy a zip cover for it at extra cost.

Side sleepers rejoice!

I have spent hundreds of dollars on pillows. I am primarily a side sleeper and every few years I find myself waking up with a "crick" in my neck accompanied by pain and tension. I have had this pillow for only two nights and I am leaving a positive review. It is firmer than one would expect based on first appearance and the "press" test. The surface stays cool and I can sleep any which way and I am still comfortable. Definitely recommend!

Too Soft for Him, Just Right for Me

My husband purchased this for himself but found it to be too soft for his preference. I decided to try it, and it worked well for me. While I agree it’s not as firm as either of us typically like, it still provided adequate support, and the shape retention held up nicely. Overall, it wasn’t a match for him, but it worked just fine for my needs.
